Welcome to NK Maize

Syngenta Seeds' NK brand is one of the world's largest suppliers of maize varieties. Across the globe the NK breeding programme is focused on achieving our customer's production objectives for grain or forage maize. In the UK, our aim is to supply high yielding, early varieties with high energy and digestibility values for forage use.

For spring 2006 our portfolio included the following varieties;

  • Antares: Well established, early variety for consistent yields
  • Avenir: Very early variety for favourable & less favourable sites, 1st choice on NIAB Descriptive List
  • Cameron: NIAB Descriptive List 1st choice early variety for favourable sites
  • Gazelle: NIAB Descriptive List 1st choice medium early variety
  • Manatan: Highest starch content of any medium early variety
  • NK Bull: High quality, high yield medium early variety
